About

Based along the South coast of Ireland, Colin Bolger is the artist behind Dabulga Design. Blending traditional techniques of pen & ink, painting and more modern techniques like graphic design and digital colouring he creates a harmony of the past, the present and the future.

The artwork is influenced largely by the natural world, folklore, mythology, the psychology of the mind. A strong current of his ancient Celtic heritage runs deep and is a constant stream of inspiration and interpretation.

A decade of working with musicians, artists, businesses and personal clients has helped attain many tools that offer prospective clients a one stop service for any visual ideas to be brought to life.

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”
